Forklift

*Prerequisite: You must hold a Class 1 (Car) Full Licence and a current Forklift Operators OSH Certificate.

To drive a forklift on the road or in a public-access worksite, you need an F endorsement on your licence and the appropriate licence class for the forklift’s weight, including its load.

This course covers:

• Unit Standard 18496: Knowledge and skills for driving a forklift on the road for the F endorsement.

Other information:

• Attendees are required to wear safety boots/shoes while operating the machinery.
• Courses are held at our office, with machinery provided. Please contact us for group bookings at your workplace.
• This course can be combined with one of our Forklift OSH courses (Beginner or Experienced), if not already completed.

*Prerequisite: You must be over 15 years of age, and have sufficient experience to operate a forklift with confidence (if you have no prior experience, please check out our course for Beginner Operators).

This course is suitable for experienced operators who do not hold a current OSH certificate. This half day course aims to ensure operators have the skills and awareness to use a forklift safely and compliantly on their worksite. The OSH certificate is required by those who are operating a forklift on a worksite.

This course covers:

• Unit Standard 10851: Operating a powered industrial lift truck fitted with forks (forklift).

• Attendees are required to wear safety boots/shoes while operating the machinery.
• Courses are held at our office, with machinery provided. Please contact us for group bookings at your workplace.
• This course can be combined with the ‘F’ (Forklift) endorsement as a one-day course.
• We recommend that OSH certificates are renewed every 3 years to ensure operators remain compliant with industry and occupational health and safety requirements. If you have a current OSH certificate requiring renewal, please check out our ‘Forklift Operators (OSH) Refresher Course’.
